Our Philosophy of Care
The independent sector of the Domiciliary Care market has always been an integral part of the social care system in England, but it has become especially important in recent years. The primary reason for this is due to the significant escalation of demand for care services that enable people to remain living as independently as possible within their own home environment. The Domiciliary Care Service offered by Apex Care affords exactly this to all the people who use their services. It enables every person requiring care to have maximum choice, independence and autonomy.
Alongside the growing demand for domiciliary care services, Government has introduced legislation and subsequent regulations to ensure that a minimum standard of care is provided across the sector. Government also deemed that every provider would be required to achieve a registered status with the Commission of Social Care Inspectorate. It is this body that regularly inspects the services we provide, with the results and recommendations of such available in the public domain. Apex Care welcomed and embraced these much needed changes and applauds Government in setting and monitoring national minimum standards for the Domiciliary Care Sector.
Apex Care realises that the staff it employs are key to delivering a responsive quality service. To assure such is achieved the recruitment process we adopt is both rigorous and thorough with only qualified and experienced staff being offered positions. For the future we are currently developing our own in house training facility to ensure that all of our staff can easily access regular and ongoing professional development and training. This way we believe we can really ensure that our staff are equipped with new and updated skills to effectively meet the changing needs of our service users, which in turn will enable service users to continue to live as independently as possible and for as long as possible within their own homes.
